FLIPT! Flipbookfestival

FLIPT! - the Austrian Flipbook Festival is a festival and exhibition project that Reinhold Bidner launched together with Christian Korherr in Linz in 2005. After 3 great festival editions 2005-2011 & 100s of flipbooks, which were flipped by numerous visitors, various work shows and a veeeery long creative?break, the festival successfully returned in November 2024 with the fourth festival edition in Linz's Ursulinenhof with the significant support of the Linz animation art association AnimaPlus.

Currently/2025, a showcase of works from FLIPT!2024 is on tour:
March 2025: Next Comic Festival Linz
April 2025: Hagenberg University of Applied Sciences
September 2025, planned: Collaboration with StopTrik Festival Maribor, including Slovenian Call for Flipbooks.
