Artistic Research
At gold extra, we understand artistic research as an interdisciplinary laboratory at the intersection of media art, performance, and game design. We reflect on social, technological, and political dynamics not only theoretically, but also make them directly tangible through documentary games, immersive installations, and participatory performances. For us, art is an independent tool for knowledge acquisition: We transcend disciplinary boundaries, conduct research through creative practice, and inextricably intertwine aesthetics with social analysis to open new spaces for shared discourse.
